Who Sells the Most Boats? Info-Link
Study Provides Market Figures
Info-Link Technologies, Inc. worked closely with the Charleston In-Water Boat Show and Sea Glass Capital, LLC to research recent boat sales in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. The result is sales numbers on 263 boat lines for the past five years. The study breaks boat lines down by state, size, Outboard, Stern/Inboard, Cruisers/Yachts, Inboard Sportfish, and Sail.
The Charleston In-Water Boat Show uses this information to study which boat lines have shown success in the specified states. The data is valuable to exhibitors through sales tracking and competitor analysis.
So, who sells the most boats? For more information on the study or to access the data, please call McKenzie Estes at (843) 278-4920 or mestes@megadock.us.

The Charleston In-Water Boat Show Partners with the
“Be A Tourist In Your Own Town” Program
The Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s “Be A Tourist In Your Own Town” program offers Tri-County residents free admission to 35 area attractions and discounts at 19 restaurants during the month of January. Since the Charleston In-Water Boat Show falls outside of the January window, the show has taken an unconventional approach to the program. Since November, each person who signs up for “Be A Tourist” receives a $2 off admission coupon to the Charleston In-Water Boat Show.
“The 5,000+ ‘Be a Tourist’ participants who received our show information represent a very active subsection of the Charleston community”, states K. C. Rennie, the Charleston In-Water Boat Show’s Marketing Manager. “We truly appreciate the opportunity that the CACVB has given us to promote the show, and we will be working closely with them on other show initiatives.”
“Be A Tourist” passes are on sale until January 5, 2008 and full information can be found at www.beatourist.net.
