2009 Charleston In-Water Boat Show
Postponed

Maritime Events, LLC has announced that the 2009 Charleston In-Water Boat Show scheduled to take place from April 23 through April 26, 2009 at Brittlebank Park and the Bristol Marina has been postponed until the spring of 2010. We are committed to continuing our initial effort to develop a functional, stable, and productive show that is beneficial to the boating community as well as the marine industry.

“This decision was extremely difficult for us to make, however, the current economic environment has placed unprecedented pressure on the marine industry as a whole,” stated Robbie Freeman of Maritime Events, “Having a show under the current conditions does not appear to be in the best interest of the boating community or the marine industry. It has been, and will continue to be, our goal to produce a show that benefits all the stakeholders as soon as market conditions improve. Additionally, we want to thank all of our exhibitors who committed to the 2009 Show and assure them we will be issuing full deposit refunds as well an additional credit towards the 2010 Show.”

The schedule, layout, and pricing for the 2010 show will be announced and available for viewing at www.charlestonspringboatshow.com in late 2009.
